Industrial Production Studies at the University of Cooperative Education (UCE)
The curriculum "Industrial Production" offers you the choice between two alternative branches of study:
- Production measurement technology and Quality management
- Production engineering
Contents
- Duration of study: 3 years
- Dual-system studies:
- alternating:
- 3 months practical training in the company
- 3 months theoretical lessons at the UCE
- alternating:
- Reports have to be drafted during the practical training
- At the end of the sixth semester the Bachelor´s Thesis has to be written in the company to be then defended by the student.
In-company curriculum
Passing through relevant departments (Production, Work Preparation, Quality Assurance and Design Engineering), hereby participating in the solution of following tasks:
- Evaluation of machinery and products with respect to assembly and maintenance
- Evaluation of impacts which control the processing
- Participation in drafting of work schedules
- Troubleshooting, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and their assessment
UCE curriculum subjects
- Basics of electrical engineering/ electrotechnology
- Informatics for engineers
- Designs and constructional sketches
- Mathematics for engineers
- Work preparation and business organization
