ELCONnect coax- Universal Coax Network

Intention

Our intention was to develop an intelligent system for in-house distribution of IP data. It is based on the use of the existing infrastructure of coaxial networks (TV cables). It reduces the capital expenditure and features low operating expenses. ELCONnect coax offers Triple Play (television, data, telephony services) in ONE cable!

Solution

ELCON Systemtechnik GmbH offers the already proven system ELCONnect® coax, which effectively uses legacy cable structures for transmitting high-bit rate, bidirectional data streams and thus avoids the aforementioned disadvantages. Perfectly suited for any type of coaxial cable networks in tree- or star structure, the system represents a very efficient option for network upgrading. No matter, if a broadband Internet connection is needed in a hotel room, or if certain value-added services have to be offered in the cable TV network – there are numerous fields of application.
