ASTRO, Marienfeld Multimedia, MR. NET and ELCON form COBRAMEDIA for promoting full-range solutions to offer Broadband, Telephony and TV services

To bundle their marketing efforts in offering complete solutions for television, Internet and telephony services, ASTRO Strobel communications systems GmbH, Marienfeld Multimedia GmbH, MR. NET services GmbH & Co. KG and ELCON Systemtechnik GmbH have recently formed the COMMON BROADBAND ALLIANCE (COBRA). The main objective of this alliance is to provide customers with an integrated unique solution for broadband data transmission over deployed coaxial cable infrastructure.

More and more the focus will be on addressing the customer group of cable network operators and the residential and housing industry.
Within the COBRA alliance, special projects for bandwidth management, provisioning, network management, billing, data transfer und many more services can be realized as package solution from a single source.

The first concerted appearance of the four companies will be at this year´s ANGA Cable trade fair from 27 – 29 May 2008 in Cologne.
ELCON will present a unique IP over TV  live presentation at its booth L49.

The partner companies ASTRO and MR. NET can be visited at booth B9 or L20, respectively.
